Pastel Dream Catcher Party Details:
This is what Kristina said about planning/styling the party- “I have wanted to incorporate the Native American symbol into a fabulous party for some time. What better colors than a dreamy palette of peach, cream, mint, blush and gold. I made a long fabric backdrop in the soft colors and made several sizes of dream catchers for the table. The amazing French Confectionary Co. designed the most amazing feather and dream catchers cookies, along with the mini cupcakes adorned with an edible feather and the macarons with hand painted feathers and dream catchers. And of course the cake was the perfect centerpiece for the table with many designs and attention to detail at every angle. Roni’s Sugar Creations made the most amazing cake pops with golden feathers and the gold chevron sticks were brilliant! I used an array of great pieces from Minted and Vintage. It all played perfectly against the blush sequin tablecloth from Candy Crush Events! I always like to use flowers so I found these great painted tins from Style Jars and Cans and filled them with hydrangea and added gold feathers. I loved the overall simplicity but natural beauty of the table!
I really wanted to create a play space as well and thus the idea of the teepee from Sugar Shacks Teepee. And of course you must let them eat cake! This park had so many great spots so I decided to create a mini dining space with the dream catcher “chandelier”. I found these great jute wrapped letters from The Chic Burlap Shack to use at the foot of the table. I thought that everything together was just as whimsical and magical and the dream catcher itself. The images all captured by amazing photographer and friend, Kelly! This was a dream party for me to create”!
