Fairy Godmother Cinderella Birthday Party Details:
This is what Christina shared about the party- “Who doesn’t love a fairy tale birthday party. I was hired by my client to create and style a fairytale Cinderella 1st birthday for her only daughter who was turning 1. Growing up, I loved Cinderella, so I knew I wanted to go a little over the top with the theme. I wanted to incorporate a lot of detail to the dessert table without going to extreme. I called my friend Candee and asked her to make me a child size Cinderella dress to go on a mannequin I had found on sale at Home Goods. My goodness, I couldn’t be more happy. She went above and beyond my expectations.
Rosario from Sugar Studios 31 had recently created a beautiful Cinderella inspired chocolate covered apple and I knew right away that I wanted that for this party. It was so detailed and beautiful. Her oreos, cake pops and rice krispys were so detailed and oh so pretty. I wouldn’t have pulled this look if it wasn’t for the help of my confectioner and bakers. They did such an amazing job. Ingrid from SweetsbyGiGi created beautiful cookies. She has an amazing talent. The cake…my client was inspired by a cake she found on instgram by mutludukkan, so I asked my baker to create something similar. Of course no cake is exactly the same.
People always ask where my cake stands were purchased, HOME GOODS! It’s the best. You just have to go there at the right time. I never leave with an empty cart. It gets me in trouble at times. It’s like a kid in a candy store.”
