“60 Years Loved” Birthday Dinner Party Details:
This is what Stephanie shared about the party- “My mother is the glue that holds our entire family together. This October she was turning 60 and we wanted to celebrate her in a special way! We decided to throw her a surprise luncheon where her family and close friends could come and honor her! The most special part of the party was that our relatives flew in from Puerto Rico and were here to celebrate with us despite the devastation they were dealing with at home. They have no electricity, gas, or water and still much made it here to be with my beautiful mother!
We decided to go with a fall theme because she was born on October and it’s her favorite season. Pumpkins were carved out and flowers were placed in them to be the centerpieces. The middle of the table was lined in fresh eucalyptus and antique mercury glass candle holders. Each person had a personalized wooden name placed on their glass charger plate. As a favor each guest was given pumpkin cupcake soap. The cake we had was a naked cake which said “60 years loved.” We also placed pictures of her around the room that showed her at all different stages of her life.
It was truly a surprise for my mom and such a beautiful day!”
