Thank you so much for featuring this farm party that I crafted and styled with my friend Lia Griffith! We had so much fun dreaming up darling details and the kids (including my own, plus their cousins and friends) had a total blast playing games, eating healthy (and some not-so-healthy) snacks, and doing crafts.

They all loved painting their own barn-style bird house (only $1 at Michaels!) and carried them home with pride. Another favorite was the DIY felt stick horses (which everyone wanted for their very own!), which Lia provided a detailed tutorial for on her website if you’d like to make one for a little cowgirl or cowboy in your life. They would make wonderful Christmas gifts. Lia’s site (liagriffith.com) has a week’s worth of posts featuring this party, including DIY project tutorials and some free printables.

If anyone has questions about the details or sources from this party, I would be more than happy to answer any questions!

    Thanks,
    Lisa Frank :)

Cute party! I love the juice box covers, did you buy those or make them yourself?

    • Lisa Frank says:

      Hi Chelsea,

All the printables for this party were designed by Lia Griffith (liagriffith.com). I know she offered some of this set as free printables on her blog and the rest were being sold in her Etsy shop.

      Thanks,

How did you make the “DIY white picket fence food trays”?

    • Lisa Frank says:

      Hi Kristi,

I have a blog post (handcraftedparties.com) that goes more into detail, but I started with supplies from Michaels craft store…their raw wood $1 square photo frames and either mini popsicle sticks or mini wood picket fence pieces. If you look closely at the photo of the trays, you can see I made some fences with mini popsicle sticks. I hot glued them together in sections of fence first. I spray painted the fences and picture frames white, then hot glued the fence pieces around the outside edge of each frame. For the inside of each “pen” I cut a piece of felt to fit (brown for dirt/mud, green for grass pasture, yellow for hay, etc) and finally I added the printable signs to the front. I just love how they turned out!
