This is what Jesi said about planning/styling the party-

“This is a Rustic Cowgirl Birthday styled shoot I did here in Austin.  I based the color scheme on the adorable invitation, and started to work from there. I handmade all the cupcake wrappers, fabric rosettes, bottle decorations, and fabric and paper bunting. I also made the paper garland and giant balloon tassel for the birthday girl pics. My daughter agreed to be our model and was happy to wear the cowgirl skirt and top I made for her. We did however forget to comb her hair or put on cowgirl boots (thankfully we live in laid back Austin!).  We decided to shoot at a nearby park which was the perfect combination of rustic and pretty.

I made an ombre pink and blue naked cake with strawberries and blueberries, giant macaron pops, cupcakes, and mini cherry cobblers. The gorgeous horse cookies were made by The Way the Cookie Crumbles, and the ruffle flower cookies were made by Kima’s Konfections. The cowgirl boot and sheriff star cookie toppers were also made by Kima’s Konfections. They were meant to go on chocolate covered Oreos but I decided to make yummy cookies instead and the toppers looked adorable on them.

We had a blast doing this shoot and eating all the treats!”
