Construction Party Details:
This is what Jennifer said about planning/styling the party- “This construction party features trucks, signs, and other construction images that little boys love in a fresh and modern color scheme.
All the food items were purchased at the local grocery store. The main table features round chocolate marshmallow pie ‘wheels’ stacked together in lieu of a traditional cake with customized road signs and a little toy digger truck. (This can also be done with chocolate donuts)
There were also cupcakes, cups of ‘dirt’ which are mini oreos and chocolate pudding, customized candy bar wrappers, and rock candy.
The second table has water bottles, apple juice ‘fuel’, wafer cookies ‘lumber’, tangerine ‘wrecking balls’, and twizzler ‘rope’.
It also features goody bags that has a ‘Thank You It Was Loads of Fun!’ tags, and chocolate kisses wrapped up in plastic toy diggers with a ‘I Dig You!’ tag. A large scale engineer print (around $10 at Staples) with the birthday boy’s name and tire tracks texture as the backdrop ties everything together.
This party was so fun to design and style and I think it turned out beautifully even without any fancy desserts.
All the paper printables shown can be purchased at MayDetails here.
There is also a matching invitation here“.

Hi! I’m throwing a construction themed party for my daughter too. Was wondering what was in your party favour bags? I could use some ideas! Shilpa
