DIY Wrapping Paper Heart {Black, White + Gold} Christmas Tree Ornament tutorial…
Michaels has the most gorgeous black, white and gold patterned wrapping paper right now. I loved it so much that I had to use it on my tree!
Supplies needed (all from Michaels):
Gold, Black and White Patterned Wrapping Paper
Chipboard Heart Ornaments
Gold Paint
Paint the sides of your chipboard 3d hearts with metallic gold paint and allow to dry.
Place your heart on your desired patterned wrapping paper and trace the heart shape then cut out the pattern.
Glue the wrapping paper shape onto the front of your 3d chipboard heart with Mod Podge.
DIY Black, Gold + White Frame Christmas Tree Ornaments
Supplies needed (all from Michaels):
Small black frames
Ribbon
Monogrammed cards
Gold sparkle scrapbook paper
Heart paper punch
I looped a small piece of ribbon {as shown below} and hot glued it onto the top back of a black frame for hanging.
Using my heart paper punch from Michaels, I cut out several gold hearts out of gold glitter scrapbook paper.
Michales has monogrammed cards right now {that match the adorable wrapping paper} that I wanted to use on my tree somehow.
I glued the gold hearts onto the front of the cards {covering up the monogram letter} and framed the cards!
Other ornaments on my tree included:
- Glittered X’s and O’s
- Gold bows
- Black feathers dipped in gold paint and glitter
- Gold, black and white ornaments with inspiring holiday words written on them
- Polka dot ornaments
