Elmo + Cookie Monster Sesame Street Party Details:
This is what Christina said about planning/styling the party- “This Sesame Street party is a little different from others because the parents wanted the party to focus on two of their son’s favorite characters, Elmo & Cookie Monster! I was excited when they told us the theme. Right away we had a million ideas in my head just waiting to get out. We knew we didn’t want to do something that we had seen before. So us girls at A little Slice got busy working and created Marc Street!
This party was bright and full of color. Everything is custom made from the centerpieces down to the cupcake toppers. We had a few of our favorite vendors throw some things together for us and just couldn’t wait to display everything for all the guests to see!
The tables each had a custom sesame street sign as a centerpiece with paper grass surrounding it. A sign with a greeting sat beside the centerpieces along with a chocolate chip cookie for each guest to enjoy! We set up a separate table for the children to color on their Marc Street coloring pages and enjoy juice boxes with Elmo on them. The banner was made from our Cricut and the sky backdrop was purchased from Drops and Props.
The dessert table was the center of the party. We created a two tier vanilla cake with edible Elmo & Cookie Monster cake toppers accompanied by a matching Dorothy the fish smash cake! We made vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and topped them with edible cupcake toppers to match. Our good friend Haddy at House of Creative Designs created beautiful cupcake toppers, cakepop straws and dessert table cards for each dessert we displayed. And we couldn’t throw a party without our good friend Jennifer at Sugary Sweet cupcakes and treats, she made all those amazing cookies!
This was one fun party to plan”!!
