Pink & Gold Princess Party Details:
This is what Tanya said about planning/styling the party-
“Rebekah is a typical girl who loves all things princess so this was the obvious theme for her 4th birthday!
At the time of her party I was in my third trimester of pregnancy (around 34 weeks) with my 3rd child – so I wanted to make the party still special for Rebekah while also ensuring I outsourced as much as I could to make it not too tiring for me on the day!
We went with a pink and gold theme and I used a range of fantastic Australian vendors who are all listed on my kids party directory website Life’s Little Celebration’s. Running this Australian kids party directory means I always have some wonderful talented vendors on hand to call upon when party planning! All the items used for the party – the invitations, decor, desserts, kids chairs and partyware – were all from vendors on this Directory.
The invitation and printables by Jo Studio set the decor of the party with a beautiful pink and gold watercolour feel.
For the dessert table – the gold sequin tablecloth set a sparkly base for all the desserts!
The main cake was a pink watercolour cake with gold touches, and a stunning Princess acrylic cake topper.
I ordered some beautiful princess themed cookies but the rest of the desserts were kept simple – oreo pops, jelly and fruit cups. However little details made them extra special – pink and gold glittered oreo pop sticks, crown toppers for the fruit and gold glitter spoons for the jelly.
For the backdrop I decided to go with a gold crown pinata and quote “Born to sparkle” to go along with the Princess theme. These are now displayed in Rebekah’s room as I love to be able to order items for a party that I can re-use afterwards!
Rebekah’s favourite princess story is Cinderella so a Cinderella entertainer came along to the party – which was a relief as the day of her party was a 40 degree day in Sydney and entertaining 20 kids indoors would have been difficult if not for Cinderella!
For her party Rebekah wore a handmade pink tutu to really give her a princess feel, which she loved!
A kids party table in pink and gold with mini ghost chairs was also setup for the kids to eat after Cinderella had finished. Each girl had a glittery crown to wear and the boys had knight hats to wear.
The kids party favours included custom soap in the shape of a princess carriage and were packaged in pink and gold favour bags.
It was a wonderful celebration and Rebekah had a lot of fun with her family, friends and Cinderella!”
