“Styled By Belle recently styled a gorgeous Aztec Indian inspired birthday party for three siblings: 4-year old Jordan and his twin sisters, Ava and Indiana who were celebrating their 1st birthdays. Their Mum, Natalie D’Urso, is the Director of gorgeous children’s interior design company, Milka Interiors. With an eye for detail herself, Natalie wanted to create a unisex party that would suit both Jordan and the girls. With feathers, arrows, Aztec and geometric prints in vogue – a modern and tribal style was the perfect theme! We kept the base colour of the party very neutral using a an earthy Kraft brown, and combining it with black, white, pink & mint, along with some gold highlights.

Ania from 2 Love Birds designed a funky geometric-tribal invitation and backdrop design that incorporated all of our design ideas. The Kraft background provided an earthy feel and set the tone for the party.

Styled By Belle created a delicious dessert table that included 3 feature cakes for each of the children. Jordan’s 2-tier raspberry & white chocolate mud cake incorporated a crossed arrows design as well as a geometric arrow border along the bottom. Ava had a caramel mud cake which had the arrow garlands replicated from the backdrop design. Indiana had a napolitana (chocolate, white chocolate & strawberry) flavoured cake which mirrored Ava’s design in the opposite direction.

Other yummy treats on the dessert table included:

• Cupcakes decorated with geometric arrow garlands and crossed arrows
• Funky arrow & garland cookies
• Macarons with gold luxe stripes, with little metallic gold arrows made by Styled By Belle ‘shot’ through them
• Soft pink mousse pots
• Mini cinnamon donuts which were displayed threaded on long arrows
• Gold luxe cake pops with arrow tails stuck on the sticks

Styled By Belle also setup a kids table & chairs setting using natural linen, adorable pastel pink, mint & white baby Bentwood chairs, eco wood plates & cutlery, geometric confetti and cute mini milk bottles with custom wrappers and little feathers tied to the necks with twine. Styled By Belle also made each child a sweet little feather headdress headband. Above the table area hung geometric paper garlands which Belle also made and dream catchers.

Super stylish mum Natalie created a fabulous tepee setup for the children to play in! There were 2 beautiful Mocka teepees which Natalie styled with feathers, garlands, lanterns & arrows. To entertain the children, Styled By Belle setup a little arts & crafts table with Indian and tepee colouring sheets, and a popsicle stick little Indian craft activity. We also had children’s party entertainers come along dressed up as Pocahontas who played games with the kids, created balloon animals and face painting”.
