Food & Dessert Table
I am a huge fan of finding things from around your house that you can use to create a beautiful party or gathering. I used this black dresser from my daughters room to hold the brunch food and sweet treats. I have been in love with naked cakes for a while now and never used one for an event yet! So I knew that was what I wanted to do for this brunch. I had a local cake gal, Jennifer Morgan, create this for me and then I added gorgeous flowers from Poppy Lane Design. It was so simple and easy! The mini donuts, from Green Mountain Mini Baked (she ships), were amazingly yummy and so darn cute! The cookies were made by Sugar Coma Cookies (she ships) and seriously were STUNNING! My sweet husband made the mini pancakes for me. He stacked the mini pancakes and topped them with cute little flower tooth picks! The yogurt parfait cups were oh so easy, and added a little something healthy to the mix. I used clear plastic cups and added the greek yogurt. Then topped with granola a nd fruit!
For the backdrop I used black and white stripe paper to cover a foam board. I then created these easy DIY floral letters! I purchased the cardboard letters from Joann Craft and Fabric Store. I then cut off the tops and filled with silk flowers using hot glue! Simply and fabulous statement piece!
The mimosa bar was by far my favorite! I used several different juices for the moms to mix with champagne to create their perfect mimosa! The adorable Mimosa Bar Sign was created using Tiny Prints 5×7 easel frame. I used one of Poppy Lane Designs gorgeous floral arrangements on the bar cart to give a gorgeous pops of color! The bar cart was purchased at Target. I am still in love with the large balloon trend and love using paper garlands from Tutus & Bowties Events to embellish my balloons! I included various fruits for the moms to use in their drinks! This drink station is great for the kids too just leave out the champagne and let them mix their juice and fruit!
This fabulous linen from Candy Crush Events gave the Mom seating table a glamorous look! I used a paper roll from Michaels for the table runner and some more of Poppy Lane Designs fantastic floral arrangements for the centerpieces! I used gorgeous napkins created and embellished by Great Stitch to give a little pop against the table linen. Each place setting was full of gorgeous gifts for mom! I created notebooks, stationary, magnets, and pillows on Tiny Prints for each mom to take home as their gifts! The mom in your life will love all of the thoughtful take away party favors and gifts”!
