Romantic Tea Party Details:

This is what Jesi said about designing/styling the party- “This tea party was inspired by the timeless beauty of roses. So feminine and lovely, you can never go wrong with this classic flower.

I wanted to incorporate the rose into as many sweets as I could. The chocolate cakepops have mini white roses on top as well as adorable flowery paper straws.

On the cookies I placed a delicate roses print on wafer paper and a tiny fondant rose and white frame, matching the cake.

The rose jellos are just awe inspiring to anyone who sees them. The imagination goes wild trying to come up with an explanation as to how a rose could end up inside!

I am lucky enough to have a very talented mother-in-law who makes these and is always happy to contribute her beautiful works of art to my parties.

She also makes the gorgeous sugar roses you see on the cake and cupcakes.

I also served vanilla and strawberry macarons, stacked sugar cookies, and vanilla cupcakes dressed in handmade cupcake wrappers.

On the table we had more cupcakes, macarons, and these little “ramekin cakes” topped with raspberries that I thought were simply adorable. All you have to do is simply spray the ramikins, and pour in your favorite cake or brownie mix to about half high.

Once baked and cooled, pipe frosting or whipped cream on top, and place raspberries, strawberries or blueberries, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can top with a pretty rose for extra prettiness”!
