Transportation Themed Birthday Party

This is what Shana said about designing/styling the party- “I wanted lots of bright stimulating colors colors and a cheerful tablescape for my little sunshine boy! He loves anything that “goes”. Trucks, cars, trains, helicopters all of it! Anything that goes “beep beep”, “vroom vroom” or “choo choo” has his name all over it! We kept the treats with the theme by serving “train tracks” (wafer cookies), “Jello Stop Lights”, “Spare Tires” (chocolate donuts), and “Flight snacks” (cute little boxes of popcorn). I absolutely love how my cake and cookie vendors referred to Hunter’s Invitation and were able to duplicate the graphics just perfectly so that his treats were a perfect fit! I put lots of traffic signs onto skewers and stuck them into the plants, and into pots on the tables to bring some bright bold colors in. I customized the street signs to Hunter’s name for a cute and personal touch! The easiest and one of the cutest elements of the party was the backdrop. I send 20×30’s of the coordinating patterns over to Costco for inexpensive prints then cut out enlarged graphics of the transportation vehicles and taped them on. It really brought the whole thing together and it was one of the easiest backdrops I have ever done”!
