Summer Tie Dye Party Details:

This is what Kara said about planning/styling the party- “Tie Dye is fun for all ages and the perfect activity for your summer party, camp, or just a fun craft for the day with your kiddos while they are home! These Tie Dye Party Printables are available as a FREE download to help you host the perfect Summer Party with Tulip One-Step Tie Dye! I had a blast styling this party for and doing a little Tie Dye myself with the kids!
DESSERT TABLE
For the dessert table I chose to do a solid white linen and party dishes so the Tie Dye paper goods and Tie Dye food would really pop! The milk glass cake stands can be purchased on Amazon and the adorable drink bottles filled with Kool-Aid can be purchased from Hoopla Events! I used the small t-shirt cutouts from the FREE printable package to adorn the paper straws from Michaels. The cake was so easy and affordable to do! I purchased a standard bakery cake from Walmart and then added this easy DIY Tie Dye Fabric garland to the top! I also did a similar larger garland for the chairs. The DIY video tutorial for these garlands is on the TieDyeYourSummer.com website. The adorable cookies by Sweet Baketique were tied to Rods using ribbon to look like clothes lines! The cake pops by Cake Poppin were delicious and oh so fun decked out in their Tie Dye swirls! Chocolate covered oreos are one of my favorite desserts and these ones by Bella’s Bakery & Bowtique were to Dye for!
BACKDROP
I let the pool and gorgeous landscaping set the scene for this fun summer soiree! I simply attached two large 36inch balloons on each side to anchor the table visually. The Balloons had Tie Dye pom poms attached to them for a fun Tie Dye effect.
SEATING TABLE
I used some of the FREE printable cut outs to create a centerpiece sticks. I then placed them in Styrofoam inside of a box. I used a few of the mini shirt cutouts to create a clothes line look on the front of the box. I did the same thing for the silverware holders by attaching one shirt and the mini clothes pins found at Michaels. For the goody boxes I used tie dye fabric as ribbon to adorn the top. The FREE printables are used throughout this set up including the water bottle wraps and the placemat. For the backs of the chairs I attached fabric garlands that I mentioned in the dessert table section. I purchased the sunglasses for the kids from the Dollar Tree.
ACTIVITY
The main activity was of course Tie Dying. For this you can have the guest bring their own shirt or you can provide the shirt. You can also choose to tie dye something different like socks, scarves, pillow cases, or totes! The possibilities are endless with Tie Dye! This FREE printable package also comes with the Tie Dye Wash Care Instructions. The kids …. Including myself;-) had a blast doing this activity”!
