Modern Urban Superhero Party Details:

This is what Lisa said about planning/styling the party- “We planned a modern

and very cool Superhero 6th Birthday Party for a wonderful little boy

named Jack. We chose an amazing industrial raw art space with super

high ceilings, black steel windows, rough concrete floors and white

pillars. Blue lighting overhead lit the already amazing space. The

kids tables were super-fun covered in chalkboard paper runners, DIY

honeycomb centerpiece garlands and custom superhero masks. We strung

the superhero capes from a clothesline as a backdrop to the kids table

and the boys and girls “earned” their cape after they completed the

“superhero training” which was a 40 foot inflatable obstacle course.

The dessert table was a focal point with an incredible fondant

superhero cake, several styles of sugar cookies, Kryptonite cupcakes

and candy. The chalk art cityscape backdrop was handmade by our team.

We use concrete boulders as dessert level tiers for a raw urban feel.

A DIY comic book page pennant banner hung from the front. A giant

phone booth stood near our smile booth with an amazing backdrop

constructed of comic book pages. The adult tables had centerpieces

made from pointillism-style vintage looking superhero posters. We

filled glass cylinders with rocks and concrete and used them to hold

up the posters. And of course we had a surprise appearance from Batman

and Spider-man to complete the party! The kids had an absolute blast”!!!
