Pink Lemonade Party Details:
This is what Alexandria said about designing/styling the party- “Summer is the perfect time for lemonade stands! Pair it with pink and you’ve got every little Girl’s favorite summer beverage! I have always been fascinated by lemonade stands. When I was younger I tried to have one almost every day! Naturally I knew I wanted to do a lemonade theme birthday but I wanted to add pink and hint’s of lace to soften and make the theme more feminine. First I designed all the printables to get an idea of how I wanted to style everything. Maybe I should say secondly… Hobby Lobby was actually one of the things that inspired me first. They have a whole line of pink lemonade party supplies and decorations! I was ecstatic! I was lucky to work with some of my favorite vendors for the sweets. Granny’s Party Goodies made the cute “L” lemon Oreos. Sparkling Sweets Boutique made the donuts, lemon cake pops (Amazing and delicious!), chocolate dipped graham crackers and pink sparkly chocolate dipped Oreos. Creating Awesomnessity did a superb job designing the cookies! These cookies are my favorite and some of the best lemonade cookies I have seen! I also had a super cute cake that was made by Mad Batter Bakes! Jo Ann Craft Store was where I found my striped backdrop. To create the look yourself purchase fabric in whatever size you need and then if you sew (which I totally don’t), overlap the fabric to create a pocket that you can fit a pole through and sew it up. My backdrop stand was made out of PVC pipe (there are tutorials all over Pinterest) and the pink fabric was a curtain that I cut in half. After assembling you PVC pipe backdrop stand, slide your fabric backdrop and curtains on. It’s that easy! Overall I think the party came out adorable and I am blessed to be able to do what I do and work with so many amazing people!”
