If you want to dive headfirst into the play-by-play of the party, ask a family member or good friend to record all the moments that you may otherwise miss.
Shoot footage in landscape orientation
Turn your phone to a horizontal position to fill the frame and capture more kiddos.
Stabilize your camera
Avoid shaky footage by holding your smartphone with both hands and/or resting your elbows on a stable surface, such as a table or chair.
Move slowly with your entire body
To get the smoothest shot, turn slowly. Fast movements don’t translate well in videos
Capture the special moments
Be sure to record the birthday kid blowing out the candles, playing with friends, participating in party activities and opening presents.
