This is what Shana said about designing and styling the party- “This party was for my daughter Mya’s baptism and 8th birthday party! I wanted to go with a floral theme to make it feel extra elegant and special; lots and lots of flowers! I chose to stick with bright cheerful colors rather than muted colors because I felt it was more age appropriate and reflected my little sunshine best! We put fresh flower just about everywhere we possibly could. Centerpieces on the tables, on the cakes, in the 3 tiered cupcake trays, etc. We kept it very feminine and girly with pink sequin table runners, gold chargers and pretty tissue tassels, but we also added just a touch of rustic style in there too. We had antlers with flowers attached on the outside tables and the industrial wood and iron shelf behind the dessert table was perfect for storing extra desserts in style”.
