During this time of social distancing and quarantine, I have learned many things. Some things I have learned include always keeping a decade’s supply of toilet paper on hand, that so much can be done online instead of in-person, I need socializing in my life, my family is everything to me, and finally, I really, really, REALLY miss going to the movies!
Who knew, right? Honestly, it is one of the things that I miss the most. I think it is the “destination”. Going to the movies is such a fun activity. You load your family into the car, arrive at the movie theater, head inside and a wide array of food options greet you. I just LOVE movie theater popcorn. The sound of the popping, the smell of the butter, and the taste of a snack that has delighted people for centuries.
Quarantine Family Game + Movie Night Idea
When my troops were getting restless and a fun family activity was calling me, I decided to partner with Bed Bath and Beyond to create a game and movie night in our home that would rival the fun of going out together!
It all started with my favorite NK+IVY Boho Comforter Set that we layed on the floor underneath a cozy blanket fort / tent.
We gathered all of our fabulous Loli Boho Throw Pillows, Azza Square Floor Cushions, and a Dean Backrest Pillow to bring comfort to the max. Stashing battery-operated LED Wax Pillar Candles and stringing twinkle Christmas lights really completed the mood.
