Pink Ballerina Birthday Party
This is what Alya shared about styling the party:
Inspiration:
“For my daughter’s 3rd birthday I wanted to do something that would showcase her personality. With her favorite color being pink and her love for twirling, dancing and walking on her tippy toes all the time, a Pink Ballerina theme came to mind easily.
Decor:
Starting with a pink color scheme, I decided to keep it simple and just add a few black accents for a pop of color. My amazing husband was able to build the panel and I DIY’d the tulle backdrop, which perfectly suited the theme. Kendra @hiphooraycompany came through with her beautiful custom pink and black balloon arches. For the kids table, I went with cute and sophisticated décor. Party favors from @custom.party.treat.bags elevated the look by adding a personal touch to it.
Cake & Desserts:
Cara the Confectionist made the birthday cake, which not only was stunning to look at but also tasted delicious. What is a cake without a personalized touch? Floral dust worked her magic and brought my vision to life with the cutest acrylic cake topper, and did the vinyl for the backdrop as well. The amazing ballerina themed cookies were by @blushinglulusweets, who is a queen of cookies. She perfectly matched the party colors. She also water painted the same design on the cookies that was illustrated on the cake! @ms.popsantreats made delicious cake pops and macaroons that were gone in seconds. Also, Petite Fluff made organic watermelon and strawberry cotton candy with the cutest custom logos.
Conclusion:
This party was so much fun to plan. Even though I gave myself a lot of time for planning and organizing, some things didn’t go as planned. In the end, the end the process brought me so much joy. I would like to give a huge shout-out and thanks to my friend @nhnphotogrpahy for capturing all the pretty details of this party! I am also so thankful for the amazing team of local vendors that made this party of my little ballerina’s dreams come true. ”
