1960’s VW Love Bug Themed Birthday Party

I happen to be a big Volkswagen fan; my Grandma, who was one of the coolest around, had a yellow VW bug and I would BEG to go with her on her errands to the bank, the grocery store–well, anywhere really! I loved opening the front trunk and loading up the grocery bags. I am also a self-proclaimed Herbie fan, and I secretly hoped that my grandma’s bug would come to life and cause laughter and mayhem for us too.

But, I digress….as you can probably tell, I loved this 60’s VW Love Bug Birthday, and all of the childhood memories it evoked. Even if you didn’t have a Grandma with a yellow bug, I am sure you will enjoy this unique party!

We took this cue and presented her Mummy with 3 girly ‘car’ concepts including Grand Prix, Pink Cadillac and VW Beetle Love Bug. Much to our delight she chose the latter and the cutest 2nd Birthday Party plan revved into action.”
