Butterfly Themed Birthday
Butterfly Party Details:
“Little Gracie turned three recently with so much style. The initial plan was to have a “Pumpkin Patch” theme and after starting the venue search, we thought the party would be hosted at a Butterfly House. While it ultimately did not end up working out, this sparked the idea for the new theme since Gracie’s room is white and pink butterfly-themed.
Activities:
Interactive elements play an integral role in the events we have planned for Gracie. This year, the Butterfly Guy was a crucial part of it as he specializes in raising monarch butterflies and offers presentations with real butterflies. Guests were able to learn and interact with the monarchs and it was a really fun crowd-pleaser. We went all out with balloons, flowers, bounce houses, and a tent filled with a hundred butterflies to list a few. Also, one of the snacks provided at the party was a “Dirt Cup” which represented the life cycle of the butterfly.
Tables & Stations
As each guest arrived, they were greeted by our team and handed butterfly wings to wear. Because the venue has a large grassy area with some uneven ground, we opted for low picnic table with poufs, pillows and rugs while the paved patio area had mini/kid-sized Chiavari chairs and tables. All seating options were doubled as coloring stations for the kids.
Centerpieces:
We also continued our tradition of providing flowers for Gracie’s party by creating centerpieces with moss and colorful blooms, reminiscent of a mini butterfly garden. We scored big time by finding Butterfly picks that when inserted into the centerpiece, made it seem like butterflies were floating over the arrangements!”
