“INSPIRATION & THEME

You’re in for loads of fun with this Funfair Carnival Baptism Party! 

This was such a cute-themed baptism that can be enjoyed by any age all year round! Filled with bright colors and fab carnival sweets, this drive-by event is a spectacle to see! 

From the colorful carnival setting to the delicious treats and games, this celebration has something for everyone to adore!

SET-UP & DECOR

I was delighted to gather the best of the best in the party industry to help create and capture this stunning party. Elisavet Apostolou, our photographer, with a keen eye for detail, ensured that all elements within the photos worked together harmoniously while Maria’s Cakes & Cookies blew our minds away with their delicious pieces of art. Masterfireworks balloons custom designs created a festive, lively, and interactive aspect, making it memorable to the guests.

Our color inspirations were blue, yellow, red, green, and orange, choosing details to bring the carnival atmosphere to the party. Our subtle approach to this theme by including lots of fun accents like the lemonade kiosk, the ice cream van, and the popcorn kiosk made Alkis’ Baptism party more wow-worthy! 

My incredibly talented team at For Good Times took my fun carnival party vision and brought it to life. Together, we created over 130 meters of colorful hanging flags to create a carnival tent style and cut over 500 pieces of colorful matching ribbons to decorate the surrounding area. The gigantic balloon garland ball placed above the candy table was definitely one of the top decorative highlights! 

At the entrance, a welcome sign using the design theme of the invitations tied all visual elements together, creating a cohesive look and feel. The wishes table with customized wooden windmills for the guests to write their wishes on and color on their taste added a creative, unique, and personal touch to the party. And Oh my God! Everyone had so much fun..!! 

Our choice for floral decorations was the sunflowers along with solidago. They are both beautiful choices for a carnival or a funfair party and a harmonious combination for a bright and bold appearance with a cheerful visual interest!

CANDY TABLE

For our funfair carnival candy table, we used a large white monastery-type table along with white wooden cube stands by each side. We highlighted it with a backdrop using the theme of the invitations and used popcorn cases to put the flower bouquets in, adding this way a fun, whimsical touch to the candy table. 

The large red metal funfair wheel, along with the wooden donuts signs, the signpost stand, and the mini retro popcorn and candy bean machine, completed the perfect setup for the guests to enjoy the treats, took off our theme in the most fun wow way, and created that lively carnival atmosphere we longed-for.

Maria’s Cakes & Cookies created the most amazing themed sweets EVER! I especially enjoyed the decoration used for the cupcakes and cookies, while the donuts and eclairs were just mouthwatering! After one bite, I was hooked!

DRINKS & FOOD

As this was a funfair-themed party, we decided to have separate stands for different types of food, drinks, and treats. We placed and decorated a few bar stool tables and offered the guests a variety of savory treats and finger food in a buffet table station. Of course, an open bar for soft drinks, wine, and beer could not be missing from such an event!

Nevertheless, the big hits of the day were the lemonade cart, the popcorn kiosk, and the ice cream van! The guests just LOVED them! And how could they not! I mean, look how cute they look!

Having separate stations and stands created a carnival-like atmosphere and gave guests a variety of options to choose from, providing a memorable experience.

It’s always great to hear that guests enjoyed their experience and had a good time! It is a rewarding outcome after all the planning and organizing!

PARTY FAVORS

We have created three different types of guest favors for this specific celebration. The glass jars filled with dragée, each decorated on top with a handmade paper windmill and a themed tag, was a big success to the grown-ups, while the colorful windmill toys and the theme-customized soap bubbles delivered the fun factor for the little ones to enjoy!” – Ioanna | For Good Times
