Party Details:

“James’ first birthday was not just a celebration; it was a golf-themed extravaganza that left guests amazed and created memories that will last a lifetime. The day was filled with laughter, joy, and plenty of golf-inspired fun, thanks to the meticulous planning of luxury event planner Caroline Leggio from Lavish Littles Events and Pure Lavish Events. The party took place at their family home in Upland, CA where the backyard was transformed into a golfer’s paradise. A “King James’ Putt Putt” backdrop from Oak Tree Event Rentals set the tone for the day, creating the perfect atmosphere for a hole-in-one celebration. Guests entered through a grand arch that playfully welcomed them with a sign that read, “Let’s Par-tee.” The attention to detail was impeccable, with the entire venue resembling a mini golf course. The “club house” bounce house and “golf ball” filled ball pit provided endless entertainment for the little ones. A custom “golf cart” sat in front of the display for James and friends to ride around in style! The winding dining serpentine table represented a golf course, creating a visually stunning centerpiece, and kid’s tables provided by Oak Tree Event Rentals were complete with trophies, golf ball cups, and custom tableware. Guests were asked to don their best golf attire, adding to the festive atmosphere. While the kids enjoyed the ball pit and bounce house, adults were not left out of the fun. The 19th hole bar offered custom signature cocktails, including “The Hole in One” and “The John Daly,” named after James’ “uncle” and good family friend, professional golfer John Daly. Golf tee drink stirrers and fruit picks added a playful touch to the drinks. Adult golf games kept the grown-ups entertained, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time. The “snack bar” was a highlight, featuring “buckets of balls” filled with donut holes and “sand traps” rice crispy treats. A delicious birthday cake, crafted by Sweet Traders, stole the show as James gleefully dug into his first taste of birthday sweetness.  James, Mom, and Dad stole the spotlight in their custom golf caddy outfits. The celebration captured not only the essence of a golf-themed party but also the love and joy shared among family and friends. Photographer Monica Franco beautifully documented every moment, preserving the memories for years to come. Children had the opportunity to visit the “pro shop” and take home their mini golf sets, complete with plastic clubs and balls. It was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall theme of the day.
