Could you use strawberry puree instead of strawberries?
If so how much?
Thank you
Yes, you can! Use 1/4 cup.
Wow, these look so good.
I had tried this and it was very yummy….
Hello! If strawberries are not in season, I’m wondering if I can replace the fresh strawberries with thawed frozen ones?
Made these for a bridal shower…they were a big hit!! Thank you!
Just made these with all organic ingredients. Did make them with a different frosting, but they were a hit at our daughter’s birthday party! Thank you!
Can I use more strawberry preserves instead of the fresh strawberries for this? :
I’m making these for my daughter’s birthday treat for her class on Tuesday. They are in the oven now and going to frost them tomorrow. Should I keep them in the refrigerator until Tuesday morning?
this really is excellent statement, best wishes split your own personal idea in this posting, my organization is cut price china jerseys offer you, though one particular require it, e mail us, best wishes.
I wanted to ask if I replace the milk with strawberry Greek yogurt, how many cups or tbs etc. would I replace it with?
I really loved this recipe! The steps were simple and easy to follow and the results were amazing! The only change I made was replacing the food dye with drops of strawberry juice :> it gave it a nice pink colour and a more noticeable strawberry scent to the cupcakes. I have to make more soon since the first batch I made disappeared in less than a day :B
My daughter wants a strawberry cake. I’ve been looking for a recipe without gelatin and this looks like a good one. How much cake would you guess this recipe makes? Enough for one circular cake pan? Ideally, I’d like enough for two cake pans. I can double the recipe if necessary.
Thanks.
Usually one dozen cupcakes is equal to two 9 inch rounds :)
24 cupcakes equals 2 8 or 9 inch rounds.
As much as I wanted to like this recipe, I was quite disappointed with this recipe. The texture was somewhat dry and dense with very little strawberry flavor. The top was also weirdly crunchy, which I assume is because of the egg whites. The frosting was also lacking in flavor. I will either replace the jam with my own strawberry compote, and using whole eggs, or I won’t be using this recipe again. :/
Hi there.
This looks exactly like the recipe from Cupcakes by Shelly Kaldunski. Is that where it came from?
Should I store these in the fridge until I eat them?
These turned out amazing and everyone couldn’t stop eating them!!
