I am so excited to share with you the Sherlock Gnomes Garden Party celebrating Sherlock Gnomes in theaters on March 23rd!

But, first, let me share with you how fun Sherlock Gnomes is as a family-friendly movie! After a string of garden gnome disappearances in London, Gnomeo & Juliet look to legendary detective Sherlock Gnomes to solve the case of their missing friends and family.

It highlights many positive messages such as the importance of working together to accomplish your goals, seeing the value in others and not taking them for granted, and how putting family first is paramount.

Plus, there are quite a few moments that will have you laughing, which is always good.

Sherlock Gnomes Garden Party

Sherlock Gnomes is such a fun movie to plan an inspired party with! I had a blast brainstorming what would make for a fun and modern celebration vibe. What I came up with is an easy DIY party that will make you into the hero!

My favorite elements from the party include the following:

  • Balloon Installment: see how the polka-dot balloons resemble mushrooms??
  • Detective-Inspired Pudding Cups
  • Delightful Cups of Rock Candies

Kids Sherlock Gnomes Party Activity

Adding a fun DIY and kid-friendly element to the party is the planting station.  I had simple supplies set up where the kids could come and get their fingers dirty as they planted their very own flower to take home as a party favor.

DIY Terra Cotta Pot Mushroom Stool (You found it!!)
