I’m so excited to finally showcase the DOCTOR + NURSE THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY I styled a while back! This party could serve so many purposes- a birthday party for a child who has a dream of being a doctor or nurse, a med school graduation party, a Doc Mcstuffins party, etc! I wanted to create a party with a theme that isn’t seen very much :]. The beautiful photos were taken by Valerie Hart Photography. Hope you enjoy and find lots of fun ideas for your next “I want to be a doctor when I grow up” party!

The invitation and full printable collection used for this party can be found in my shop for only $3, here. I used clipboards throughout the party as party trays {I thought they matched the theme perfectly}. Old operation game cards were also set out amongst the party goods.
I set out darling green scrub sugar cookies {ordered from the online shop, Cookie Cheers} a top of a vintage operation game board!
Plastic gloves were filled with popcorn and tied off with cute ribbon from the KPI shop. The printable food label is part of the doctor themed printable collection.
At the center of the table were apothecary jars {available in the KPI shop here} filled with white gumballs, red heart candies, blue dum dum suckers {the kind you get at the doctor’s office}, and large marshmallows labeled as “cotton ball mallows”.
The adorable doctor themed cake was made by Sweeten Your Day!
I stuck bandages on glasses to add to the doctor feel :]
The adorable doctor cake pops were ordered from etsy shop, Cake Pop Castle. The ambulance box is actually a painted ice cream truck box from the KPI shop {I painted it white and added a red felt square to the side}
I placed white and red scrub themed sugar cookies {ordered from etsy shop, Ladybug 650} on a small scale.
Store bought heart shaped doughnuts were covered in white frosting and red string licorice {cut and put on the doughnuts to resemble heart monitors} and were placed on another clipboard :].
I filled plastic syringes with blue m&m’s.
On another clipboard were mini cupcakes with stethoscope and nurse hat fondant cupcake toppers from So Sweet Favors.
The printable party hats are also a part of the printable doctor collection.
Healthy food had to be served at the party, of course, so I filled clear glass containers with various veggies. Ranch dressing was also set out, along with bone shaped breadsticks :]
The darling doctor themed printable banner is also part of the printable doctor collection.
I made a giant operation game for the children to play with at the party. I had a local printing shop enlarge an operation game board image, and attached the image to heavy gator board. Red bean bags were painted with white puff paint to resemble operation game pieces. The children had to throw the bean bags onto the game board, trying to get as close as they could to the matching body part/game piece.
A clear plastic organizer tray was filled with various candies, and labeled as a “happy pills first aid kit” :]
