Here’s what Renee said about the party– “This birthday party was for Nina’s daughter Lola’s 6th Birthday. This Vintage Candy Shoppe theme that was set up at a children’s party venue called Gumbellina’s in Sydney, NSW. It featured jars and jars of sweet candy and other sweet treats. Lola’s two tier cake was inspired by her favourite sherbet sticks in the colours that became the theme for the party – Herbert lemon, pink and orange. The cake was layers of caramel cake with delicious white chocolate frosting. The table also included berry and passionfruit macarons, colour dipped marshmallows, candy and lollipop cookies, cake pops, strawberry sundae and bubblegum cupcakes, and of course loads of sweet candy! The venue was decorated with small vases of delicate baby’s breath and “candy” bouncy balls wrapped in crepe paper. A very sweet party for a very sweet little girl.”
