This adorable CUPCAKES AND CAROUSELS SECOND BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Stephanie Hanna of Brag about Baby.
What a darling theme for a birthday party. Any boy or girl would love it. It has so many creative ideas that could be implemented into all sorts of occasions. Some of my favorite elements are:
- The cupcake horse toppers
- The Happy Birthday banner
- The carousel horse suckers
- The ticket booth photo opp
- The invitation
- The cute “2” cookies
- and MORE!
Stephanie said this about planning the party- “We were so excited to have McKenzies 2nd Birthday party at Sugar Sand Park right next to the carousel. We had lots of sweet treats, a ticket booth photo op, clown that did face painting and balloon animals. We had hula hoops and beach balls for the little ones to play with. Carousel music and carousel rides made the party complete. I started with my favorite part the dessert table. I used white linens so the color scheme: pink, mint green and gold would pop!”

Wow, I don’t know where to start! This party is adorable, so many cute things – the table set up, carousel pops, tickets attached to treats, the adorable photo booth with the even more adorable kiddos – I love it all!! Wish I was on the guest list.
The vintage-carousel decor is fabulous! What a beautiful party idea! I’m sure it will be unforgettable for everyone there.
Did you make your own backdrop the picture with the gold around it or did you purchase the print?
Can you tell us where they go the gold cupcake toppers and pink carousel cutout?? I love this party!!
I am also curious as to where to find the gold carousel’s! I am having a carousel themed birthday party and would love these finishing touches!! Thanks!!!
I made all of the cupcake toppers, banners etc with my cricut. The gold carousel cupcake holder I found online and spray painted it. My aunt photographed the carousel and I mod podged the canvas with the gold glitter. If you want to purchase a digital image of the carousel email me stephanie@bragaboutbaby.com.
Was the ticket booth a DIY project? I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! Plz tell me how I can work this idea into my party. Thanks
Yes the ticket booth I made from wooden crates I found at Joann’s and the spindles at Home Depot. I painted it and cut the letters with my Cricut,
For everyone wondering about invites, etc. I have made a little print-yourself set because of the overwhelming amount of requests for the invite. Thanks so much! Megan, Kaylee Bug Design
