This fun PICNIC THEMED NINTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Adriana Bauman of Preparativos Lulu.
What a great summer time party theme with lots of fun activities and ideas. Some of my favorite elements are:
- The picnic baskets
- The cute cake and matching cherry cupcakes
- The water bottles and food sacks
- The parfait desserts
- and MORE!

Nice………party where did u get the basket from.
I would love to know that too!
Cute party – I love the graphics (adorable little ant with a flower) and the picnic baskets were perfect, what a great idea!
Hello, I would also like to know where to find the cute little picnic baskets. Such a cute little party! Cathie :)
Love to know where you got the baskets from.
Adorable party. Didn’t see an answer on the board, but where did you get the baskets from?
Hi I was also wondering where you got the baskets! I am doing a picnic party for my daughter and would love to have these for the kids.
I noticed lots of questions about the baskets. I don’t know where THOSE baskets came from, but I was interested in purchasing of my own, and found these priced at $3.50 each. http://www.luckyclovertrading.com/rect-bamboo-weave-picnic-basket-with-honey-12in-p-5397.html
Where did you find the cute little water bottle wraps with the ant on them?
This isn’t a Kara’s Party Ideas party, so your best bet is to reach out directly to the party stylist. Her name and link is in the first paragraph of the party post. XOXO!
Hello all, this party probably did not take place in the States. Everything in the pictures indicates Brazilian birthday party for a Brazilian girl named Marilia who turned nine. Typical in Brazil in the last decade, are more personalized parties, in doing so the graphics are especially made for individual personalization
(notice the water bottles, cupcake liners, basket labels and all other labels have the same theme and name). As well as the added ribbons to the water bottles and baskets. Also, if you’re looking for a basket for your party, I would suggest looking at beau-coup party supplies or maybe even oriental trading, or check your local craft supply store, because more than likely the baskets in the pictures were probably not less than $5- $10 each as nothing in Brazil is cheap. The cake most likely is not real, but a fake cake for pictures (since traditional brazilian cake is not covered in fondant nor is it sturdy enough to be stacked like an american cake). The real desserts are the little sweets you see pictured that you may not be able to pronouce and the fondant and cherry covered cupcakes.
Thanks for your help Danielle!
