Brianna said this about planning the party

– “My husband and I set up this little Minion themed dessert table for our daughters as a summer play date celebration. Our girls love the Minions and we thought that this would be a fun way to end the summer. We found 2 plastic storage crates in the back to school section which we used for a bit of height on the table. The color was perfect and the circles reminded me of the minion goggles. Best of all, they were just $4.00 each! The minion pinata was the centerpiece of the table of course. We wanted the table to have a bit of a feminine feel too it, so we used a scalloped cake plate, trimmed in blue dot ribbon. The white butter cream cake was topped with a simple fondant bow, a candle, and a toy minion. Our cupcakes had a small fondant dot and a custom cupcake topper on each. Store bought cookies and tarts were also served…in our yellow and blue colors of course! Finally, we used packaged chocolate donuts to create “goggle pops”, which were a big hit and very easy to do. Take home favors were placed inside of yellow polka dot boxes and coordinating M&Ms were handed out inside of mini yellow gumball machines.”
