SCIENCE PARTY DETAILS:
This is what Jhoanee said about planning the party-
“Another month, another party to hold this time for my eldest’s son. I had only one and a half weeks to get the invitations out and the party stuff sorted. My son couldn’t decide what he wanted to do and by the time he did decide, all the places were booked out! Next on the list was a science party and although it was a frantic for me to party plan, I’m glad we did this theme because it was so much fun to do.
I knew what I wanted to have .. what’s a Science lab without beakers and test tubes, flasks and petri dishes. I thought it would be fun too to have names that had scientific connotations. Prepping for this party actually took me back to my Science laboratory days at University.
As for the cake, it was all thanks to my son who knew exactly what he wanted – a flask cake! Everything just came together as soon as I received all the partyware and all the goodies. All I had to do was do the cake, make jello, chocolate shots and some party food on the day. I absolutely loved the faces on the kids as soon as they arrived and we could all feel their excitement. They had so much fun doing the experiments and of course, picking on the goodies on the dessert table. I think they liked most was picking which Element in the Periodic Table (of cookies!) to have to make them ‘radioactive’.”
