This darling PINK AND GOLD VALENTINE’S DAY PARTY was submitted by Deanna Talwalkar of Mirabelle Creations
What an adorable party! I love the pink, white, and gold color scheme; it’s perfect for a Valentine’s Day Party. I also love the glittery heart garlands used throughout the party! This party has so many precious ideas that would work perfectly for a Valentine’s Day Party or even a bridal shower.
My favorite Pink And Gold Valentine’s Day party ideas and elements from this darling occasion are:
- The cute cotton candy placed in martini glasses
- The darling pink and gold heart garland
- The chocolate chunk brownies with pink hearts on top
- The cute invitations
- The gold tipped swizzle sticks
- The adorable heart cake topper
- and MORE!
Pink and Gold Party Details:This is what Deanna said about planning the party-
“We hosted the party for our extended family to show them how much we love them! It was a fun afternoon celebrating the start of a new year and continued appreciation of how thankful we are for having them in our life. This love themed party would be perfect for a Valentines Day cocktail party, open house, or even kids party.
For the decorations, I first started with a gold and pink color palette. The pink watercolor printables for the party, including an editable invitation, love banner, cupcake toppers, thank you tags, and editable place cards are available in my Etsy Shop for Valentines Day. Additionally, the chalkboard art that was used as a backdrop for this party is also available in my Shop. I love the ease of using digital chalkboard art, printed at the local print shop, for an inexpensive and cute piece of art for holidays.
For the glitter heart garlands and cake bunting, I simply used a heart shaped craft punch and glitter scrapbook paper. Gold glitter scrapbook paper was also used for the little flags on the cotton candy cocktail glasses.
For dessert, I chose to keep the items simple, using only homemade goodies. All of these goodies could easily be recreated by the home baker. First, we served a homemade, mini Strawberry Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. To decorate the cake, I simply sprinkled it around the top and bottom edges with gold sugar. There were also Strawberry Cupcakes on the dessert bar. The brownie bites were topped with frosting and a pink chocolate hearts, made using a chocolate mold. Homemade Caramel Corn was made pink with a little red food coloring added to the caramel sauce.
For the drinks, we served Cotton Candy Cocktails. The kids loved pouring Sprite over the cotton candy to make a pink fizzy drink. For a more grown up cocktail, you could pour Champagne over the cotton candy.”
