Lego Party Details:This is what Louise said about planning/styling the party-
“This year it was a Lego party for my gorgeous boy Alek who turned 4. Alek decided on the theme so I thought it would be great to incorporate chevron yellow into the styling. I used Illume Designs chevron yellow party ware and incorporated the chevron design into the invite, thank you tags, chocolate bars and buffet sign. The cake was a chocolate mud cake, made into the shape of a number 4, I added the actual Lego buggys and Lego men. I had lego cookies made in the shape of lego heads. I made the cupcake myself and added fondant Lego block to each cupcake. The cookies, cake and fondant blocks where made by Miss Confetti and where delicious. I designed the Lego thank you tags and added them to chevron yellow treat bags, I also designed the buffet sign. As the party was in the middle of summer, it was such a hot day. We had a water jumping castle set up, which was a huge hit, and the kids managed to cool down”.

This such a nice party with lots of Lego ideas. I see a Lego party in my future with my boys starting to like it more and more, especially after seeing the Lego Movie. I like the cookies and cupcakes, a great way to add the Lego theme.
