This spectacular MARDI GRAS THEMED PARTY was submitted by Tiffany Fox of Fizzy Party
What a fun party! I love all of the shimmering and bright gold ideas used throughout it; they’re all so fun and festive! This party is so cute and would work so well for not only a girl’s night, but for a cocktail or dinner party as well.
My favorite Mardi Gras party ideas and elements from this fabulous event are:
- The cute pear shaped drinking glasses with gold sprinkles around the rims
- The darling Mardi Gras mask cookies
- The fun sequined table cover
- The cute fondant Mardi Gras themed cupcake toppers
- The awesome ornate gold frame
- The fun dessert table backdrop with masquerade masks and feathers on it
- and MORE!

Mardi Gras Party Details:This is what Tiffany said about planning/styling the party-
“When designing this Mardi Gras party I wanted something different, a new look. I contacted Swishprintables to design custom printables and the ideas flew through the air like beads on Bourbon Street. A white/gold color palette with a touch of regal purple and over-the-top Mardi Gras flare.
One almost wants to arrive in costume to this party. Can’t you just picture yourself in a big ball gown and masquerade mask. Sipping Hurricane’s out of gold rimmed glasses adorned with feathers. Dining on cookies gleaming with gold and glitter, cupcakes topped with pearls and a Fleur de lis jester cake.
Sometimes you just find that one piece that will spark the creativity for your party. That piece for me was the gold cupcake/cake stand I found at Homegoods. From that one piece the whole party came together. I was able to go to craft stores and find beauitful material, feathers, and masks to decorate my float (table). For the tablecloth and backdrop I found the perfect fabric at Joann’s . No need to buy a tablecloth. Just measure your table, pick out your fabric and have them cut it to fit. Always check the dollar bins at Michaels, you could find the perfect frame like I did.
No party is complete without treats. Creating Awsomenessity made beautiful cookies topped with elegant pearls and matching the printables design. Kima’s Konfections mask cookies were the perfect party favor and Made by a Princess Sparkle Sticks added whimsy to the cookies. Fancy Cakes being from New Orleans created cupcake toppers full of Mardi Gras symbols. The jester cake topper added laughter to the party. Even I added some treats to the table.
I dipped Little Debbie snack cakes in white chocolate and adorned them with purple fluer de lis. I baked a cake, smoothed on white frosting and added gold sanding sugar in a fluer de lis pattern.
This Mardi Gras, step outside the traditional colors”.
