This darling PINK, PURPLE, AND GOLD DISCO THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Bobbie Pecev of Sweet Celebrations
.
This is such a sweet party. I love all of the dazzling gold used in it; it add such a fun touch! I also love all of the cute desserts sprinkled in gold. This party has so many great ideas that would work perfectly for not only a disco party, but for a royal princess party as well.
The Disco party ideas and elements to look for from this spectacular occasion are:
- The cute cupcakes in dessert jars
- The cute tissue pom poms and tissue balls hanging from the ceiling
- The dazzling gold ribbon curtain
- The fun gold sequined table cover
- The cute record label
- The cute purple cake pops sprinkled with gold edible glitter
- and MORE!
Disco Party Details:
This is what Bobbie said about planning/styling the party- “We decided on the purple and gold theme, as purple is my daughters favourite colour and you cant have a disco party without gold. All the food was prepared by me, printables are by Polka Dot Prints, photography by Nikki Fitt Photography.
We played some games, danced, had lots of sweets and at the end had some fun dressing up and posing for a photo. I created a simple photo booth with some photo props and a simple gold material for a background. The photo booth dress up was the biggest hit. The kids were a little shy at first, but after the first photo were lining up for more.
All in all the party was a huge success”.

I JUST started shopping for my 4yr olds 5th birthday party today and she has insisted on Purple and Gold!!
There hasnt been anything very close to this yet and i LOVE what you did with it.
Its been kinda hard for me since it seems that EVERYTHING at the store HAS to be a theme or nothing at all.
Well that may also be because I live in a relatively small town with no specific party store, so im stuck to our walmarts thrift stores and ofcourse the .com’s.. BUT I love the Disco twist you put on it!
We are doing a photo booth as well and I’ve been re-inspired, its a good thing too starting to go from Excited to irritable with this ‘TO BUY’ list of things and decorations!
Ours happens to be a pool party on top of it soo Im just hoping it still works out. Im going to attempt my own version on the tassel garland and glitter utensils :)
THANK YOUUUUU!!
