This is what Nicola said about planning/styling the party- “Having had larger, outdoor parties in the past we wanted Mia’s Birthday to be a little smaller but equally fun. Being in the events industry myself and having a good friend who styles amazing lolly buffet’s, meant that our morning-tea was never going to be a dull affair. Instead of spending the time and money on games or entertainment we put our focus on presenting to the children an amazing array of treats and eye-catching decorations. Their little jaws certainly dropped when they saw our spread of iced cookies and lollies. The Mum’s jaws also dropped when they saw our glittery, silver-leaf and marshmallow decorated macarons.
Along with strawberry-milk in the must-have mini milk bottles and coordinating party bags the little ones all enjoyed pass-the-parcel and a game of musical statues.
We finished the morning with coffee’s and an ombre chocolate mud-cake made by my good friend Cat of Cat’s Creative Cakes.
A lot of genuine giggles and fun was shared by the little ones and Mia had a beautiful time”.
