This is what Rachael said about planning/styling the party- “Since my daughter Kaitlin loves anything to do with Rainbow’s, choosing a theme for her 3rd birthday was easy! I absolutely loved putting this party together for her. Apart from the fact that it was a fun theme to work with, Kaitlin also had her own ideas about what she wanted and I loved that she was able to help me create a party that was all about her.
I had created a few samples for the invites with different versions of rainbows and after I had shown them to Kaitlin, she chose the invite design that she liked best. The images that were used on the invites were also used on some other stationery used in the party.
Kaitlin also loves to dress up and mostly loves to dress up in tutu’s! To reflect her love of tutu’s I made a tulle table skirt using different coloured strips of tulle to match the theme colours.
The cake was also so much fun to make! The inspiration for the design of the cake came from all of the party stationery.
Other desserts included on the table included; Vanilla Cupcakes with Buttercream icing, Layered Vanilla Pannacotta and Jelly, Rainbow Individual Cake Stacks, Cookies, Salted Caramel and Lemon Buttercream Macarons”.
