Girl’s Night Out Spa Party Details:
This is what Britni said about styling the party- “I have a number of friends who have young kids and taking care of young kids all day long is exhausting. I planned this Lovely in Lavender party as a way to combine two of my favorite things – DIY projects and pampering.
I setup the party with various stations where each of my girl friends could create their own DIY spa products to take home with them for some additional relaxing after our girls night was over. All of the beautiful lavender themed printable designs were created by World Wide Party and really tied everything together throughout the party.
The first table was setup for my girl friends to create their own scented sugar scrubs for luxurious showers all year long. The second table was setup with samples of different lip gloss flavors that they could try on and check out using the custom designed purple mirror from Princess Mirrors. To decorate the table, I added frosted lace candle holders from Kate Aspen and creative hand towel roses from Confetti Couture Events. After sampling the lip gloss, guests could make their own using vaseline and Crystal light flavoring.
The final DIY table was for making their own neck wraps. Cupcake with Character made the perfect fabric sleeves for this project that each guest just filled with rice and sewed shut.
Last but not least, you can’t have a party without delicious food, and we had plenty of it. I setup a DIY spa water table where guests could add their favorite fresh fruits into ice water to create their favorite flavor of ice water. To go with their spa water, we also served cucumber shaped cookies and cupcakes from Pink Piggy Sweets and chocolate covered pretzel, marshmallows, Oreos, and cake pops from Sweetly Bites. The girls worked up quite an appetite working on their “projects” and the sweets were the perfect way to treat them for their work.
Guests were sent home with take home pedicure kits and handmade eye masks from Confetti Couture Events that coordinated with the lavender and mint color scheme”.
