Like I announced last week, I’m so excited to partner with Friskies and PetSmart this month! I’ve been planning a Grumpy Cat Halloween Pumpkin Carving Party where my friends are going to carve their own Grumpy Cat pumpkin using a free pumpkin stencil (available HERE), and today I’m featuring the DIY PUMPKIN DRINK HOLDER + BOWL I’m going to use at the party!
Download the free Grump-O-Lantern pumpkin stencil HERE (PetSmart.com/friskies)! After you carve your pumpkin, upload and share your Grumpy Cat masterpiece using hashtags #Grumpkin and #KarasPartyIdeas (make sure your post is set to public so that Friskies and PetSmart can see it)! Friskies is going to donate $500 to PetSmart Charities on behalf of the blogger whose audience uploads the most carved pumpkins! So don’t forget, use hashtags #KarasPartyIdeas and #Grumpkin!
For a limited time, PetSmart is also offering exclusive Friskies variety packs!
So here’s how I made the DIY pumpkin drink bowl…
You can definitely use a real pumpkin, but I decided to use a faux one so that I can re-use the pumpkin bowl time and time again. Plus, the faux pumpkin holds ice without any leaks or problems!
Step one- Cut the top off your pumpkin with a serrated knife (faux pumpkins cut easily)…
Step two: Fill the pumpkin with ice and insert drinks. Viola! You now have a handy drink container / bowl that will keep your drinks refreshingly cold during you’re whole party!
This post is in partnership with Friskies and PetSmart. I received compensation and free products, but all opinions, ideas and photos are my very own.
