What an fun-filled party! I love all of the fantastic DIY ideas and details in it! From the awesome name and number signs/decor made from lego’s to the cute invitation and Lego men jello. This party is too cute and would be perfect for any little boy who adores playing with Lego’s.

 Lego Party Details:This is what Kara Pothier said about planning the party-

“My 6-year-old son’s infatuation with Lego’s came long before the Lego movie. It only seemed fitting that we have a Lego party – and the perk was that he received a lot of Lego gifts! The hard part about a Lego party is you can’t go to the store and buy themed decorations. Lego clearly has their licensing in a vault which makes this a DIY party. Basic Legos are based on primary colors which gave me an easy color palette to work with. My son loved the life-size Lego Minifigure. As I pulled out the saw to cut a hole in the face (for the photo station), my son panicked and told me to stop. He loves Legos that much, He didn’t want me ruining his guy! I even made Lego costumes – more time consuming than I could’ve ever imagined but it made for some happy kids!

The lego molds I ordered from Amazon worked like a dream for the jello and the kids couldn’t get enough – Jello always tastes better when made into cool shapes. They also work for chocolate and crayons if you want to go crazy with them.

For activities – There was dancing to “Everything is Awesome”, we took pictures as Emmet at the photo station, we colored blank Lego guys (which ended up with 6 Emmets, 3 Wyldstyles and one I couldn’t make out), we made rubber band Lego cars and raced them and did a Lego relay race.

One kid in attendance joyfully announced that this was his favorite party ever and that his birthday was in two months and he wanted it exactly like this – and he wanted everyone to bring the same exact presents”!
