This impressive MODERN NEVERLAND BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Anna of ADN Designs.
Who doesn’t love the magical world of Peter Pan and Captain Hook? With vibrant colors and black and white stripes, this Neverland Party is so darling! I especially love that it’s a modern take on such a classic theme. The fabulous ideas in this party would be great for any Neverland, Peter Pan, Pirate, Mermaid, or Fairy themed birthday party.
The Modern Neverland party ideas and elements to look for in this birthday extravaganza are:
- The felt pirate beards and eye patches
- The Mermaid Lagoon, Indian Camp, Pixie Hollow, and Pirate Cove
- The layered rainbow cake
- The treasure maps
- The striped fabric teepee
- and MORE!

Anna said the following about planning / styling the party- “This is the first year the my daughter has shown an interest in the party theme. I was planning on doing Frozen for her (big surprise there) and she specifically asked for Peter Pan. To say shes obsessed with that movie would be an understatement. We literally watch it daily. She has never been so excited! We went with more of a Neverland theme, dividing the room out into the different locations on the map. Kids referred to the map to find the different activities. In Pirates Cove, we served lunch, dessert was in Mermaid Lagoon, and crafts took place in Indian Camp. I worked with some of my favorite shops on this party and Im so thrilled with how it turned out!”
