Alex said this about making the cake- ‘ I am thrilled to have made this gravity defying Sleeping Beauty sculpted first birthday cake for the first little one of the couple who happened to be my very first wedding cake clients, Lee and Shelly :) This cake took lots of structural planning and it replicated the scene in the movie where the fairies are trying to make Aurora’s 16th birthday very special. In the movie, this is the cake Fauna made BEFORE she resorted to magic :) I hope that Justice Aurora’s first birthday was just as magical.
