Mother’s Day Mother + Daughter Party Details:
This is what Christina said about designing/styling the party- “What is more special then intimate time spent with the ones you love, as you celebrate the joy of motherhood? On Mother’s Day, nothing is. By hosting a Mothers Day brunch you can do just that this year. I created an intimate Mother + Daughter brunch using inspiration from Tiny Prints Pretty Wreath stationary collection. This is a great line to inspire your next celebration, as well as coordinating gifts as you prepare to garnish the Mother’s in your life with love.
Instead of planning a large brunch like I traditionally do, I put emphasis on the personalization of each guests garnished gifts in order to focus on the significance of the celebration. The soft design touches beginning with the color palette using soft pinks with bright yellow. Then, complementing that with pastel green and purple to visually enhance the style. These colors are even the focal point of the gifts. Notice the Forever Dots: Goldenrod pillow, perfect for any mother. Also, the khaki on khaki Herringbone full name throw (my personal favorite gift!)
I have been eyeing the vintage birdcage featured on the brunch table for a while now. Filling the birdcage with fresh blueberry muffins and butter croissants strategically worked perfectly for the design. The photographer was able to capture great imagery by the peeks of the wood muffin toppers and just a pinch of the croissants. Other style details include: personalized pastel mini cakes from Maribelle Cakery topped with wood cake topper sticks with personalized labels, coordinating paper bird accessories by Paper Acorn, and bold place settings incorporating more of the Tiny Prints stationary which fit well with the other designs of the project.”
