Minion Madness Party Details:This is what Alexandria said about planning the party- ‘
Minion madness is what we went with for Zane’s 8th Birthday. Zane and his siblings are ADDICTED to minions. They run around all day giggling and yelling “Bee Do Bee Do Bee Do!” and “Butt” ( thank you despicable me 2). I decided that I wanted to incorporate elements from the “Despicable Me” movie. I included “Gru’s Scarf”, a hilarious “Fart Gun”, “Anti Gravity Serum”, “Dr Nefario’s” gloves and goggles” and “Minion Goggles”. It was a pleasure to work with Jill from “Morsels Party Planning” on the cake pops. She made and decorated every single detail on the minion pops! Not only were they adorable but they were delicious too! I also had two garlands created for me that were too cute! Pamela from “JP Alexander Events” designed the fabric garland. Because I wanted to hang it from the drink stand I doubled up the garland and it l ooks even more full! Kameela ( an amazing women to work with ) from “Tutus & Bowties Events” always creates the cutest and most colorful paper garlands. I sent Kameela a sample of my colors and I was very excited with the garland she sent me. It matched perfectly! Other elements that I included from the movie are names for the treats like “Shrunken Moons”, “Lucy’s Cupcakes” or quotes like “Eat Jelly You Purple Freaks!”. One of my favorite things was coming up with creative labels. The birthday boy and the guests enjoyed snacking on “Caterpillars” (cheese puffs), “Lucy’s Cupcakes”, Rock Candy, Popcorn, “Shrunken Moons” (donuts), “Robot Cookies”, Cake Pops and Candy. For party favors I sent home candy apples from “Mammarellas Sweets & Treats”. I have only ever had caramel apples but when I tried Serena’s candy apples, I was pleasantly surprised! The apples are hard to bite into but then they soon melt in your mouth with the apple. They were very pretty and yummy! The kids had a great time talking in Minionese and are very committed minion fans! So much that a few brought their “Fart Guns”.’
