Sesame Street Party Details:This is Lileen said about planning the party-
“I had fun styling Avas party and enjoyed the creative process. My husband and I wanted to choose a theme that was fun and familiar across different ages. We decided on the popular childrens television show, Sesame Street. I used bright primary colors red, blue and yellow as inspiration.
The focal point of Avas buffet candy/dessert table was a two-tiered Sesame Street mud cake, created by Julie from Edible Art. Julie was also our wedding cake decorator. Her intricate fondant work was nothing short of amazing. I felt a minimalist backdrop would complement and showcase the detail of the birthday cake, the colorful jars of candy and macarons. My talented friend, Jess Do, from Jesss Messes made darling little, red velvet Elmo, Cookie Monster and Big Bird cupcakes. My friend Loan Huynh prepared yellow jellies, which we decorated with little red toothpick flags to tie in with the color scheme.
For entertainment we created a DIY Sesame Street photo booth, hired a Sesame Street jumping castle and set up a Sesame Street coloring and play dough station for the kids.
David Chau, my brother in-law, and Tuan Nguyen, of Twenty One Photos, helped us to photograph Avas special day. The boys did a fantastic job”.
