Harry Potter Party Details:This is what Fiona said about designing and planning the party-
“Jamie and his family love Harry Potter, so for his 11th birthday they asked Easy Breezy Parties to transfigure their house into an Hogwartian abode, and to lead his fellow first years through a potions masterclass.
The fun began with invitations styled as an Hogwarts welcome letter, rolled into a scroll and hand-delivered, a ticket for the Hogwarts Express tucked inside each one.
As each student duly arrived, they passed through a brick wall to reach platform 9 3/4 – a giant painted sheet hung across a doorway. Then they entered the great hall, where candles floated above the banqueting table.
Around the corner was Warlock’s Ice-Creamery, where a delicious array of toppings were laid out ready to make sundaes. With toppings such as doddernewt dungballs, slivered gurdeyroots, desiccated pixie wings and eye-ball gumballs, this was a sundae station with a difference!
The party fun began with the students being sorted into their houses, the it was time to take the Potions Masterclass. On the curriculum were severely sloppy slime, dragons milk fireworks, and fortune telling potions. Potions class was a big hit!
Next everyone used their Marauder’s Maps to hunt down treasures, and lastly played a game of balloon Quidditch. After that, it was back to the banqueting hall for dinner before everyone headed back home”.
