Elegant Silhouette Princess Party Details:This is what Diane said about styling the party-
“I have been itching to design a princess party, so when I asked my daughter if she would like a princess party, she happily said “YES!” So, I went with a shabby chic princess theme in a lavender, gold, and white color palette with accents in shades of purple. I designed, styled, and handcrafted every detail! Additionally, Princess Brooklyn was dressed in her royal attire, which was a vintage silk skirt that used to be mine when I was little! Had to dress my girls in matching colors too!
Her party featured a dessert table, pin the crown on “Princess Brooklyn” game, thank you favor table, a royal table (for the princes and princesses to feast), and a “photo booth” area that featured a large gold resin frame draped in silk fabric with satin ribbon ties. There was even a cute tent in the backyard but it was way too hot outside to even use it! The tent was designed and handcrafted by good friends of ours whom kindly let us borrow it for the royal event.
Two balloon towers or castle towers welcomed guests at the door. Upon entry, they were greeted with the thank you favor table. The thank you favors were embellished felt crowns and a goody bag filled with candy and toys. The goody bag featured a personalized sticker and the crowns had embellished name tags on each (Princess Briella, Prince Brady, etc). I even made crowns for the King and Queen (my husband and myself) and baby!
The “pin the crown” game was super cute and a lot of fun because I personalized it with my daughter’s silhouette (side profile head shot), a banner, and the game pieces were embellished paper crowns. I just had to bling up the crowns! The royal table was styled with individual table settings, personalized name cards/place cards, and table number titled, “The Royal Table”. Personalized paper straws and water bottle labels added a nice touch. Princess Brooklyn had a designated seat detailed with a feather boa and the adult table was styled with a purple handmade chandelier!
The birthday invitation was a hit and definitely set the tone for the royal princess party! It was a layered invitation with matching envelope liner and printed addressed envelope. The invitation wording is super cute and totally reflective of the princess theme. The envelopes were addressed as such, “The Royal Hicks Family”, etc. Post-party, matching thank you note cards were mailed to each guest.
The dessert table was full of fun paper details like cupcake toppers, embellished cake topper, tented food cards, banner, and a framed embellished silhouette print. I made custom cake stands and made the backdrop from fabric, embellishments, and ribbon. Draping, table cloth/fabrics, satin ribbon ties, and some florals completed the look. The dessert table was the biggest production piece and was the focal point of the party! And I’m super excited to announce that it’s available for rent at my online stationery shop, My Lady Dye! Only for local clients of course! All the stationery and paper details are also for sale in my shop! Hope you enjoyed my daughter’s party and all the paper details.”
