Glam Movie Star !0th Birthday Party
Old style Hollywood was channeled in the design of this 10th birthday party bash. I especially loved the overarching feathers framing the main table of the party, what a great tablescape design! Don’t miss the other glam elements in this celebration….

Glam Movie Star Party Details:This is what Peju said about designing/styling the party-
“When Onari’s mum contacted me about her 10th birthday party, I wasn’t really sure what shape or form it would take. She wanted a Hollywood themed 10th birthday party but mum didn’t want me to feature any Hollywood star or movie. I immediately put on my thinking and creativity cap. I thought we could make her the Star of the movie! Afterall all children are stars in the making! And that’s exactly what we did. She was the Star of the movie. I contacted a friend who does videography and photography, we got a few of her friends, aunties, family and parents to do a little movie describing her and to send her birthday wishes. My friend also did a pre birthday photoshoot for her, we got her growing up pictures and voila! we got our movie. It was indeed lovely.
I then had to incorporate Hollywood in a way. I remember my friend posted a picture of Judy Garland from the movie Easter Parade on her Whatsapp profile a while ago. I loved the picture and I kept it. This single picture formed the styling phase of the party; Old Hollywood glamour. Judy Garland wore a lovely black and white stripped dress in the picture and she sat down to dine in glamour. I then incorporated the glam theme. Being a lover of gold and pink, I included these 2 colours to the party colours.
It was indeed a delight planning, coordinating and styling this wonderful party. No one achieves something good on their own, I worked with an incredible team and lots of fantastic vendors.
She wanted a nail bar, she got a nail and beauty bar. She wanted Karaoke and musical chairs, we delivered both and many more! It was indeed a fun party and her friends are still talking about it 3 weeks after.”
