Woodland Fairy Party Details:This is what Valentina said about the party-
“When someone says “I don’t believe in fairies” somewhere a fairy dies. Well, we not only believe, but have seen a forest fairy with own eyes!
My daughter Barbara was excited for her 3rd birthday, and because of all the preparation we did together and completely independently, without involving professionals, it proved to be an interesting experience.
Since my daughter’s birthday is in November, I wanted to convey the mystery and atmosphere of a hushed forest preparing for winter. So, we wandered in the nearby woods in search for acorns and twigs– while looking for fairies of course. We also decorated all the attributes of a holiday with the main element fairies – glitter (fairy dust).
All the guests at the party were invited to become residents of the Woodland Fairies Kingdom using face paint. So our party visited the wood elves, hares, deer, bears, foxes, and raccoons. By the way, I had to seriously practice drawing before the holiday to do it.
The sweet table consisted of magic apples, butterfly cookies, chocolate hedgehogs, milkshake with a secret ingredient, and of course cake. All the food I cooked myself.
Later all the guests were supposed to find a mate and to show a dance, a song, or compose a poem, and take part in the production of stories about Barbara – the fairy and her forest Kingdom.
There were also a lot of fun games. For example, to make a circle of fairies with paper flowers and run around it. Or catch the butterflies of right color, which I threw standing on a chair.
All the guests were delighted, as well by the main fairy of our birthday party – my daughter Barbara.
It has been a party I have long remembered since I still find glitter to clean up all over the house!”
